Yellow butterfly.

Habitat:

Garden attached to a home in a quiet residential area.

Cabbage White (Peiris Rapae). They vary between Bright White and pale Yellow. This guy here in this specimen is a Male. Forewing has a sharp angle at hind side, Females are more round on all four wings… Males have a pheromone spot gland & Females have several (4) spots. Malez retain the straight long antennae, whereas Females are shorrer & notched/bent in center. Males have a thin skinny abdomen, whereas Females are usually always bloated with eggs. :- ) https://www.butterfliesandmoths.org/species/Pieris-rapae
