So cute! I saw these in Oregon and I found them to be very friendly as well! They came right up to me, most likely begging for food ;)
Thanks Isaa1, This Squirrel was so friendly. Practically walked right up to me. Though i am assuming it was thinking i had food, sniffed around a bit and galloped away. lol
Golden-Mantled don't have facial stripes, so whenever you see what looks like a Chipmunk with no markings on the face you'll know.
Deceiving with his chipmunk looks, but the long tail gave it up eh? hehe!
Lorraine, Actually this is a golden-mantled ground squirrel, which is a pretty cool animal. Great photo!
