Family: Commelinaceae. Small perennial, perhaps 8 inches tall. Small though it may be, it is endemic to Florida.

I am afraid I'm not familiar with any native species by that name but both spiderwort and the Roselings are in the same family so its easy to make the comparison.
Looks like pink Spiderwort to me, have never heard of your name .Nice.
