Description:

Possibly Otiorhynchus squamosus or Otiorhynchus lepidopterus as it was suggested by http://www.kerbtier.de/ on request listed under # 5847

Habitat:

The genus is native to the Palearctic region. However, sixteen species were inadvertently introduced to North America and have become widespread there.
