A dime-sized beetle with army green specks. It made its way indoors.

João, thanks so much. I found the ID really quickly through Bugguide. It's funny because I use that site a lot but didn't think to look there. :) Apparently this weevil is very destructive in North America, but I'm confused. Wiki says it's not native to this area, while Encyclopedia of Life says it is.
Now I see it's from North America, thought it was from India, look for Curculionidae in bugguide.net and you might reach the species :)
