Description:

Varying in color from white to dark brown and gray; mottled and streaked below. White throat. Yellow eyes. Large ear tufts. The Great Horned Owl is large. Roosts during the day in trees, on sheltered ledges, or in secluded spots. This owl is in VINS rehabilitation center. Found with a broken wing.
