Field Notes

Description:

Large spider with very long legs. Reddish tan coloration with a warm brown stripe running from face to abdomen along the dorsum, bordered by a thin white stripe. Sparse dark hairs on legs. This is typical coloration for this species.

Habitat:

Sears Bellows County Park, New York. Wooded campground. Shower house.

Notes:

This is the smaller of two that were in my shower stall before I showered. Apologies for the focus on a few of the shots as I was using the point-and-shoot due to the weather.
