I tried to find one here in the bay area on Sat. It was reported seen for almost a week and by the time I got there it was not seen for 3 days. The difficulty was there were Black-headed Grosbeaks and they sound almost the same. The photo someone took was a male also and not as pretty as this one. Great shot.
