Description:
This butterfly was seen flying in a field of wildflowers, along with many other butterflies. The wingspan is 16–23 mm. Adults are on wing from June to October in the north and year round in south. The larva feed on Fabaceae, particularly mesquites (Prosopis species), which is fairly common around here. This one here is a male, because males, have more blue on the inside.
