Description:

These are bright red Amaryllis bulbs transplanted from far far south Florida by my grandmother. These might be too crowded in the pot I have them in, and that could be contributing to the beaten up flowers. This is day two of their bloom. None of the other leaves produced stalks to bloom. I only transplanted 3 bulbs, and got all those leaves, so when they die back for winter, I might just have to do some bulb splitting.
