Field Notes

Description:

I am a bit puzzled here. This wasp looks like other paper wasps I often find here. I checked the internet for info, but I couldn't find any picture of a potter wasp that looks like this one. I wonder if it is really a potter wasp, or a paper wasp trying to reach the larva inside. Does anyone knows if paper wasps do that? Or confirm that this is a potter wasp? Any help will be appreciated.
