Description:

A perennial creeper with small scented oval leaves that grows upright when flowering; the lilac flowers are arranged in axillary whorls along the stem. Pennyroyal has a strong fresh minty odor and is traditionally used as a dry herb.

Habitat:

Common in valley bottoms and water courses.

Notes:
