Hi Sargon, I can tell you for sure that this is a domestic rabbit. Someone most likely released an unwanted pet rabbit. There are some places where they have free roaming domestic rabbit populations (on purpose). I don't know much about this park, but it is not uncommon for uneducated folks to "set free" pets in wild areas thinking that they will be able to survive. Unfortunately, t is usually a death sentence for the pet.
