Description:

Medium size deagonfly, thorax grey green w/ black stripes abdominal segment 10 & cerci yellow

Habitat:

likes sluggish flowing water with sunny open areas

Notes:

Found at beginning of Huntley's boardwalk before the beaver lodge

It was on its last legs, the students on the walk spotted it first. We picked it up to get a nice shot of the side of the thorax.
Nice spotting, Meagan! Clubtails are usually very skittish -- how did you coax the dragonfly onto your finger?
