I have these as pets, but they thrive in conditions similar to the wild. Bark substrate mixed with peat moss, log hideouts (cork bark) you can find in reptile section at pet store. They eat apples, bananas, oranges, romaine lettuce, cat or dog kibble, white bread, tropical fruit like papaya mango pineapple, and decaying leaves and bark from outside, mine enjoy Oak and Birch. They can be fed fresh rose leaves once in a while so long as no pesticides were used. I mist mine with a water from spray bottle for humidity and they drink water droplets.
