Habitat:

This butterfly was actually feeding on a patch of concrete by a village home on a patch of small farmland surrounded by lots of forests. Just nearby is flowing Rolep River.

Notes:

This is a remote corner in east Sikkim. We're here in this remote village for a break for our daughter Peden coming from Mumbai, and beautiful nature spottings like these are great treats for her!
