Description:

Tulips originated in Persia and Turkey. It is the 11th wedding anniversary flower. It is said that a tulip bouquet represents elegance and grace. The Scientific name for the Tulip, is Tulipa Gesneriana. Tulips come from a bulb and are in a variety of different colors and are found all over the world. They are one of the most common spring flowering bulbs. Will come back year after year if they are in the right soil conditions. The tulips in this spotting are a mauve pink.

These tulips are in my flower garden.
