Description:
Diseased? or Rotten? I went to the food store, about five days ago, and I bought three, green, bell peppers. I was in a hurry, so I accidentally bought one pepper, that was not in good condition. This pepper, is four inches long, and two, and seven eights of an inch wide. The color of this pepper, is green. Symptoms: Grooves on most of the skin. Medium green coloring, on parts of the skin. Deep brown holes, in the skin. Soft areas on the skin, and mushy areas, on the skin. Is this pepper a diseased pepper? or, Is this pepper a rotten pepper?
Habitat:
Peppers, are tender plants, that thrive in warmer weather. Late summer and fall, are best harvest times, but they are grown and available year-round. Ideal growing conditions for bell peppers, include warm soil, that is kept moist, but not waterlogged. Bell peppers, are sensitive to an abundance of moisture and extreme temperatures.
