Description:

•They eat fish, frogs, crustaceans, small rodents and insects.
•The white juvenile little blue herons often mingle with snowy egrets.
•They best in colonies, often with other species of heron.

Habitat:

Swamps, mangroves, rivers, lakes, beaches
-I saw this heron in Angra dos Reis (RJ, Brazil)
