Field Notes

Description:

A small honeyeater that is a swift and agile flier. This bird has first year plumage. Older birds will have cleaner boarders to their markings.

Habitat:

Dry sclerophyll bushland and domestic gardens.

Notes:

This one is a young male that hatched out near our house and is very used to me and my camera. The older birds tend to be more wary and are nearly impossible to photograph.
