Thanks a lot Neil. I'm really not familiar with snails so I will go with your suggestion.
I hope the suggestion helps, Mauron. There seems to be so much colour variability with the shells, but all will have the white lip. Check this link out. There's one snail in particular that is very pale, and it has no banding on the shell. Does this look like the one you saw?
