Description:

insect eaters
5 hatchlings, 6 eggs laid
Male and female same color
these birds used complicated gestures for possible communication between the pair or other birds.
One of the parents clacked its beak quickly and repeatedly when I went too close to the nest during fledging

Notes:

egg description and measurements:
1.3 cm diameter
1.6 com from tip to end
white/pink coloration
Nest and materials
moss, pine needles, mud, twine
11-12 cm diameter
3.7 cm deep
5.6 cm from top of the nest to the bottom of the nest
Eggs assumed to be laid around the end of April. 3 weeks from final laying to fledging. Hatchlings fledged at the end of May

This nest was removed from above a light after all of the birds had fledged and the parents were no longer seen attending the nest.
