Description:

Sundews are one of the types of carnivorous plants, meaning they get some of their nutrients from animals, typically insects. They are able to catch the insects by means of sticky "dewdrops" at the end of extensions from what somewhat resemble flowers.

Habitat:

Found in peat bogs, which are low in certain nutrients, they have adapted to get the lacking nutrients from insects.
