Description:

small metallic bee mimic fly. Very fast and nervous. Dove deep into t he rhododendrons and was definitely a worthy pollinater

Notes:

I was lucky to get the shot int he sun.

He certainly behaved like a bee, diving deep into the flower. But I will buy E tristus as an ID... so small headed fly it is. Very striking insect
