OK I guess this must be related to the Downy Yellow Violet (Viola pubescens) - the refs are with your photo of same; what other violets have you got in your part of the world or is this a colour variant?

The flowers resemble those of the Pansy family (Violaceae ) but I'm not sure that those bracts which appear to be associated with the flowers fit
