Description:

Freshwater game fish, Perch are sought-after by fishermen both for sport and for food.
Carnivorous fish that are most commonly found in small ponds, lakes, streams, or rivers. I was at the Torrey Pines State Beach, and a man caught this Perch. The fisherman threw it back because it was still a baby.
