Description:

The species is distinguished in that the female is bright green and the adult male has a blue abdomen with a green face and green and blue thorax.
Pictured is a young male that hasn't yet changed colors.

Habitat:

the protected wetlands area of North Point State Park, Maryland

This is an immature male, as indicated by its terminal appendages.
