Field Notes

Description:

Quarter sized Eastern Painted Turtle. Has Yellow stripes on head with yellow spot behind eye. Orange underneath with red/black spot pattern bordering shell. Orange/red stripes on legs.

Habitat:

Found on edge of pond in shallows.

Notes:

Only got a couple shots before putting him back where I found him.
