Dear SukanyaDatta, thanks for your suggestion about the first photo. I will remove the other two.
You have three different types of fishes in the three photos you have uploaded. My suggestion is for the species in the first photo.
The head is pretty distinctive for Clarius...in India we eat Clarius batrachus which is considered to be good for weakness. It;s skin is smooth and not mottled or spotted as I see in the photo....In my mother tongue (Bangla) we call it Magur Maach. (Maach = fish) Good luck with the ID.
