Description:

Sand Martin is a small brown-backed hirundid, white below with a brown collar around the neck. They are highly sociable species, and nest in large groups.

Habitat:

Observed on sandy coastal dunes, in a protected reserve - at this time of the year, the reserve is fully closed for nidification of these birds.
