Amazing shot, its well deserved that you got SOTD
We read a book about hedgehogs. In the book it says that it is a mammal. They eat snails, slugs and insects like beetles, bees and wasps as they are insectivores. They are nocturnal and they have enemies such as foxes, badgers and large birds of prey. They live in Africa, Asia, Europe and New Zealand. They have a life span of about 5 years. We love hedgehogs. They are beautiful. Hedgehogs rock. Beautiful picture. We watched a couple of videos too. Form III Blue- Saint George´s School

What an adorable little guy! Welcome to the community Kamal & congratulations on earning your first spotting of the day! The small nocturnal Indian long-eared hedgehog is common across the Indian sub-continent, and distinguished by its proportionately large ears. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152899547515603&set=a.10152383557885603.943728.10150120463815603&type=1 https://twitter.com/projectnoah/status/344281551904862209
