Description:

We were road-cruising for snakes and came across this sandpiper sitting on a fence post.

Habitat:

On a fence post next to a gravel road out in the country and by a field

No worries at all. I should have had my gear ready and am glad at least one of us got the shot. It was just cool to see it and hear it call. It was also on the best side of the road for that sunset! :-)
