Field Notes

Description:

Chocolate coloured bird with black head . Bright yellow bill and legs and bright yellow skin near eyes. There is a white patch on the outer wing feather and the wing lining on the underside is white. There is distinct sound when the bird takes flight. has awide vocal range.

Habitat:

At home everywhere; able to exploit all available niches and feeds on almost everything edible. Unafraid of humans.

Considered Invasive.
