Description:

Breeding plumage. Medium sized sandpiper. Long droppy black bill and dark legs. Back and top of head is a rusty color with browns mixed in, wings are brown and underside is white streaked around collar and belly a large black patch.

Habitat:

Spotted in a salt pond near shore
