an herbaceous bright yellow flowering perennial plant, about 2 feet tall with erect leaves about 1.2 in wide, spreads by rhizomes

Habitat:

growing in the water on the edge of a man-made pond on urban school grounds

Notes:

can be invasive aquatic plant
