They do get big, don't they! Brave of you to let it climb on you, though they don't move particularly fast. Ugly, and one entomologist told me they have a painful bite (though not dangerous), but I've never heard of anyone getting bit by one even though they're all over my house.
Thank you! Biggest spider I've seen in the Pacific north west! Hard to let it climb on me! Lol
Wow, that's huge! Possibly severus species...Common name will depend on species. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Callobius_severus
