Nest of Pariah Kite
Milvus migrans
28.6573, 77.2273
Field Notes
Description:
The nest was built mainly of large sticks. It was safely hedged in a three-edged "fork" of a Silk Cotton Tree. Bits of rags were also used, which later Squirrels and common myna cannibalized much to the displeasure of the Kite pair.
Notes:
The nest was re-used. I observed it for three years...in the third year a chick was raised to adulthood.
