Field Notes

Description:

This golden-leafed shrub came through a mutation of the violetera. Its popularization was a true phenomenon in Brazilian landscaping. Goldfinch, unlike other traditional shrubs, has a very rapid growth, which, combined with its vibrant yellow color, were largely responsible for its widespread use. It is an excellent plant for topiary, especially for beginners.

Student: Breno Gabriell
