Project Noah Fun Fact: Easily distinguished from other Amphisbaena species due to the unique black and white mosaic pattern that covers both the dorsal and ventral side, there is not much known about Amphisbaena fuliginosa. It is a fossorial reptile found in northern South America in the Brazilian Cerrado biome and in Trinidad. It feeds upon any small invertebrate, or insect, that it can find while burrowing. When it finds its prey it will use its strong jaws to catch and kill it. ~Wikipedia Black & white worm lizard (Amphisbaena fuliginosa) spotted in Linden, Guyana by PN member MichaelRodrigues. https://www.facebook.com/projectnoah/photos/a.10150595289465603.674700.10150120463815603/10156476521755603/?type=3&theater
Snake, worm, or lizard? Wow, this is very cool. I would never have guessed this to be a lizard. Great IDing, Scott, and a good reference link.
