Field Notes

Notes:

This thrush flew into my front window and then sat for a good 1/2 hour recovering. It had been knocked pretty senseless, the only reason I could get so close. After that 1/2 hour it flew off into a spruce tree and was seen the next day at our feeders again :).

Thanks Tom. I should add that this wasn't the first window collision. After this window strike the feeders came down for good in the front yard.
Great shots of a nice bird! Glad to hear it was ok after the window strike.
