Oxeye Daisy

Description: A dark green, leafy plant with a cluster of several stems topped by nearly leafless branches, each bearing 1 flower head with many white rays surrounding a yellow central disk; each bract of flower head with a narrow brown line near margin.

Leaves: Lower ones 1 1/2-6" (4-15 cm) long, broadly lanceolate, with long petioles; upper ones smaller, lacking petioles; all with edges lobed or cleft and scalloped.

Height: 8-31" (20-80 cm).
