American Robin

I noticed this young robin hopping around a tree. My guess is he fell out of the nest a little early. I was able to get quite close to photograph it and even pet it but as I tried to scoop it up to put it in a box to keep it safe it squawked loudly and hopped away, drawing mom and dad. It eventually hopped to the back of my property and camouflaged itself nicely in the leaves.
