Description:

About 7-8 mm in length, bright metallic blue-green as shown.

Habitat:

Habitat is south-facing hillside with grassland, Gambel's Oak, and scattered conifers uphill.

Notes:

This species is a parasite of the nests of pollen wasps (Pseudomasaris spp.).
