Field Notes

Description:

Wild Turkeys on Fort Drum, New York. I tried to get a better photo of these guys, but they kept flying away. Every time I got close they would leap and flap about 30 feet into the air and come down about 50 feet away. They may not be the best fliers out there, but they did a good job of keeping me at bay! Date is an estimate.
