Field Notes

Description:

Olive brown back, long yellow bill, and yellow legs. White line over the eyes, and a spotted white chest.

Habitat:

Freshwater lake shore.

Notes:

This is a rare siting for this area due to this only being migratory through our county. A first species siting for me! I stalked this bird all morning with no pictures to show for it, and then during dusk I finally spotted it again and grabbed these two photos.
