Description:

Male mallard duck possibly attracted to swimming pool by swan planter.
The duck is approximately 24 inches long with a green head and a purple tinged breast.

Habitat:

The duck is in a heavily vegetated backyard with a swimming pool.

Notes:

The duck has visited us on several occassions. The female has been seen nearby.
