Field Notes

Notes:

At first, I thought this was a twig. I took a closer look; still I was not sure if this was a twig or bug. I could only guess by looking at the edge of the “twig.”

Thank you so much Jakubko! I could never find the name without your help. I am very happy that I could find this.
@Sckel: No, this is a single caterpillar, not two.
Wonderful! This is likely X. sospeta, because both X. sospeta and X. urticaria were found to have the same DNA according to DNA barcoding done by Jeremy DeWaard. I am frequently checking for updates of this research and waiting to see more developments of these results. If you look at the comment on this link, you can read about the DNA barcoding results: http://bugguide.net/node/view/607033
Are two? Are working together.
