Field Notes

Description:

As you can see from the blood pouring from my hands, northern water snakes definitely deserve their vicious reputation. Oh wait - he never actually tried to bite me at all! Nor has any other snake, despite the fact that I probably deserve to be bitten. (I mean, how would you feel if some giant stranger randomly picked you up?) How about we popularize a new saying: "The only good snake is a live, happy snake!"
