Description:

葉子是互生的,厚厚的
只為保存水分:先端凹陷,好像烏魚子的樣子
花期在5月到7月及10月到11月開白色小花
果實:呈橢圓形的核果,外表具有柔軟的海綿組織
繁殖:果實成熟後落在水上,靠外皮的海綿組織漂浮水面,尋找合適的地方生存

Habitat:

多生長在海岸或紅樹林沼澤

Notes:

是使君子科欖李屬,分布在馬來西亞,玻里尼西亞,東非,大洋洲,亞洲,台灣島,印度…..
