Description:

Broad-Headed Bug of the Family Alydidae, 1 cm long. Many species of this family are great ant mimics. The head is usually as broad as long (hence the name) and the last antennal segment is elongated and slightly curved. They usually feed on seeds.

Habitat:

Came to the parking lights of a shopping mall, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
